I walk around our rural area daily. There are many trees and in the Fall, many leaves on the ground!  I started to collect skeleton leaves that show the leaf veins and are quite beautiful. When I had a collection of these I decided to use them in a collage. This developed gradually with acrylic patterns in pinks and golds into this Mandela.
