We have a great opportunity in the Town of Milton to display your art, for rent, at MPP Zee Hamid's office. Every month one artist can participate in this opportunity.
Rental Details
MPP Zee Hamid's office has agreed to rent two pieces of artwork from FASM members for $50 each month. Two paintings of small to medium size (no wider than 18 inches) can be placed in the foyer wall with the tag of your name, the title, medium, and price under each one.
A 20% commission of this rent amount will be charged by FASM, so the artist will receive $40.
You can take the painting there on a Friday on the date provided (or pick up on the same day) and get your picture taken with the MPP to post on social media.
Artists will display according to when they submitted the application form (first-come-first-served), and you will be notified 3 weeks in advance that your turn is coming up.
If you submit only 1 piece, you will receive $20 for the month. There will be a second artist with another piece who will display on the same wall with you for the month.
Paintings cannot be larger than 18 (wide) and 24 (long). Insurance will be covered by yourself.
Switch-overs will be done on the last Friday of the month at the MPP's office (where you pick up your art and the next person drops it off):
