Marketing Director

Sakina's career has been a combination of interior design and marketing management. She has worked in corporate settings and climbed the ladder to Marketing Director for design/build/fabrication firms that specialize in retail activations, museum exhibits, trade events and interior solutions. Her career has developed from the combination of her education in interior design and luxury marketing management & her experience in corporate communications, marketing and brand strategy. Sakina also has extensive experience in entrepreneurship and has played a vital role in hiring for leadership roles, been an active part of various companies’ strategic goals and growing their digital and grass root marketing footprints. She has also been the lead for Request for Proposal tender bidding processes, qualifying bids of all government and corporate clients and has landed large city and private projects. Her true passion, however, has been in the world of fine arts. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Visual Arts from University of Ottawa, majored in large scale photography and traveled to study fashion design and marketing to Paris, France. Her earlier works explored acrylics, charcoal, sketching, oil painting and pastels. During her student years in Lahore Pakistan, she also studied under renowned Pakistani artists where she learned live human figure drawing. FASM is an opportunity to step away from her professional creative roles and pick up the brush again just for the love of creating.
