Artist Statement
My painting ," Recycling Memories: Looking Back, Looking Forward", reminds me to still carry a mask in my pocket, to be grateful, appreciate life , and to live responsibly. Also, realizing that the upheaval caused by COVID five years ago was the necessary push for progress in the field of medicine, to allow all of us to embrace life again.
Dealing with a tiny upheaval in my life by not being able to remove coffee stains from my new silk T- shirt, I recycled it, and gave it a new life and purpose as a piece of art on a gallery framed canvas.
