For years, FASM has left an increasingly impressive footprint throughout the greater Milton area, with its Annual Studio Art Tour and the two Member Exhibitions at the Holcim Gallery in the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton.

 

More recently, the FASM artists have come together for community art projects:

 

1) In 2015, the Pan Am Mural was created from the contributions of 80 FASM members, designed to honour the tradition of cyclists training along Milton's country roads. It now hangs in the Mattamy Cycling Centre (Milton Velodrome).

2) In 2018, a painted paper-based triptych mural was constructed by 35 FASM members for the expanded Milton Hospital lobby, which honours the unique forested escarpment lands overlooking rolling fields and farms.

 

We have created important relationships and partnerships within the business community, especially through the BIA and the Milton Chamber of Commerce, to expand our connection with the community.
